Paperless Challenge

As many of you know, our class started a mission last year to become 95% paper free.  While we weren't able to reach our goal last year, we came very close and learned a lot in the process.  This year we have continued to learn more about how the changes we have made have helped the earth.  Last week the students continued their research on this topic.  The students learned more about how paper is made, the impact of the manufacturing process on our world, and the power of recycling.  We are even more motivated than before to continue our quest.  The students are working on spreading the word and trying to get more people to join our challenge.  In the coming weeks students will work in committees to continue our efforts.  Students, if there is a special committee that you would like to work on, please post below.  As one of our students stated, "One small spark can ignite a great fire."  With hard work and focus, they are hoping to be that spark.

I am happy that we are doing this because if we get the whole school to go paperless maybe they could spread the "WORD'S" and maybe the half of the world could go paperless. I think this is going to go well!!!!:)
