Time to Celebrate!

Our students did a great job concentrating and working hard on their Reading ISATs this week.  So today we had the opportunity to celebrate our hard work with some extra skate time with our 1st grade buddies.  Next week we will take our Math ISATs.  Please continue to help your child stay rested, arrive at school on time each day, and eat a healthy breakfast.

Paperless WEB Projects

This month the students were given the opportunity to make their entire WEB project paperless for 10 extra credit points.  We are all thoroughly enjoying the results of this challenge.  The kids came up with some really creative projects this month.  :)

Going along with the paperless theme of this project, I have graded the students' projects paperlessly as well.  Your child can log into their Edmodo account and go to the March WEB project assignment to view their grade and the comments on their presentation.  I hope this is helpful.  Of course, if you or your child have any questions, please jot me a note or send me an e-mail.  Thank you!

Our Fun Fair Basket Needs Your Help

Thank you so much to everyone who has already sent in donations for our middle school baskets.  This year we are working with Mrs. Wagner's class to create a Northwood Middle School basket and a Creekside Middle School basket, both of which will be auctioned off at the Fun Fair.  Please help us fill our basket by sending in any middle school related items by Wednesday.  Thank you!

Test Like a Champion!

Our ISAT tests begin next week!  Today we had our ISAT pep rally getting us all ready to do our best on the test.  Please make sure your child has at least three #2 pencils with good erasers.  Students have also been reminded to get a good night's rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time each day over the next two weeks.  Together we can all ensure that our students do their very best.  Thank you so much for your support at home.
